Hi, those are nice bottles but not whiskey. I remember discussion about them many years ago.Anyway, they were liquid smoke.

They are neat bottles, come in at least two sizes and are rated as not common but neither are they scarce. I've owned both sizes (that I am aware of) and enjoyed having them. They are typically valued at $50 - $100 each without labels. If they had contained something other than liquid smoke flavoring they would be worth more. Enjoy your find. Jim

thanks guys for clearing up what came in my cabin. guess the smoke rolling out of the shutters makes sence now. for a 5 dollar bill i dont know who wouldn't enjoy it. whiskey or smoke still wouldnt want to pour out of it what a mess u would have. unless 100+ years ago there skills were way better than now lol.

Sorry about that i just ment how the roof is shaped and the skinny diameter of the spout you almost have to shake the liquid out. liquid smoke would be like pouring molasses out of a straw i think. hopefully more finds to come i started digging outhouses about a year ago up hear in canada. untapped resource up hear no one even looks twice at a bottle let alone once!

OK thanks. My hot and soy sauces are like that but they have a plastic bit I can take off to to pour them out.

I have dug pieces of those. Can't imagine using something made from pine, juniper and spruce to smoke meat with. What would it taste like???
