Great Pontil

Just wanted to post this old medicine bottle with an open pontil scar. I am unsure of exact age and it is labeled Dr. D. Jaynes expectorant on the front and Philad on the back.

Around 1850. Probably the most common of the Jayne bottles and don't seem to bring much, but still such a great bottle. I dug some pieces of one out of an old well, not enough to reconstruct, but I still couldn't throw the pieces away. Fine old bottle. Thanks for sharing.
