Green New Yorker Bottle

Hi everyone! I am new here and just dug up this one quart New Yorker bottle the other day. I looked this bottle up, and could only find one like it on Google images. I think it is missing a paper label. I would like to know the approximate value of this bottle, and also the approximate year, and any info as to what it held, (Ginger Ale?) or other info about New Yorker. Here are some photos. Bump. Is this a <$10 bottle? More than $10?

Possible date on Bottom looks like 1946. As for Value? I don't know anything about it but I do know Similiar type Bottles get around $5.00 but just my opinion. Others may vary. Leon.

Know nothing about it, but something about the name, color and size of the bottle is appealing!

Thanks for the replies! Yes, that is a 46 on the bottom of the bottle. I didn't know the 46 was the year though. Hopefully others will chime in with more info.

The bottle was made by the Owens-Illinois Co. No idea of value, but it will probably be hard to find a buyer at more than $5.00
