I was some days out there doing bottle hunting. The far best find was this green baby.
I saw dispersers in similar shape or bottles with thin mouths but this one is something different.

I think it contained pickled food.

Nice dig, Al! Great picture with all the dirt, too. I've seen those and like you, I figured they were some kind of pickle jar.

Looks somewhat similar to the French barrel mustards. There are several of these pictured online but none of them are embossed. They're almost certainly European.
