Found this C. H. Selick New York bottle this morning in Guantanamo Bay in the water.

It is 10” tall. Has air bubbles in the glass. The bottom has no identification, it has 2 seams that do not reach the lip of the bottle. It’s in tact, but has a crack at the bottom so I’m being super careful with it (any suggestions on a sealant of some sort to keep the crack from breaking?).

I did a search and didn’t find much. CH Selick seems to have sold perfume, but I did not see a bottle shaped like this one.

Any help on history and dating the bottle is very much appreciated!

Wow— I’ve never seen those. Of course I find the Hatuey beer bottles ALL the time, but never those. Cans haven’t withstood the test of time here. Thanks for the picture.

Cans found buried in the dirt or deep in the mud can withstand time in good condition. Surface finds less likely. LEON.
