I would like your help in a little bottle survey. [8|]
I am doing research for a book I'm writing about the medicines of Lynn, Mass., and trying to find out how broadly one particular medicine got distributed across the U.S. and Canada. The medicine is Mrs. Dinsmore's Cough and Croup Balsam. It's a medium-sized embossed medicine found in clear or aqua and also in a small trial size. If you have dug one of these bottles, would you please let me know what state it was dug in? (Must be dug, not bought, of course.)
I'm sure it would have been found in all six New England states, but if you have dug one beyond there, could you help me out and let me know? You could just say: standard aqua - Ohio or sample clear - Texas, etc. Thanks so much!
P.S. If you have dug one outside of North America, I'd love to hear about that, too! [
