My home place was in town , built in 1927 . It was a Sears & Roebuck house , always thought that was pretty neat . There was a house next to us that was older than that but have no idea just how old . I remember an out house on both properties , remember using ours ! That was in the nineteen fifties . My Son now owns the home place as well as the lot that the old house set on next to it . I have always figured neither one of them would be worth digging no older than they are .

Mines covered over by a garage now....shame how when I was young, I was pulling bricks out of this sink-hole in the ground wondering what was going on []

I probed until my arms fell off. I think the privy is under my kitchen. My house is 1840 so its somewhere.

Ask the owner for permission to drill a hole in the floor! Shouldn't be a problem... right? [8D][;)]
