I'm a newbie who has just started collecting bottles. So far, I have 4 bottles and I'm now always looking for more. I'm addicted to collecting old bottles now.

The ones I'm interested in the most are old poison and medical bottles, but I'm looking for any kind of old bottle.

Also, thanks for accepting me into this group.

Welcome to the site, I've noticed a couple other Ontarians around. If you only have 4 bottles, you've got a lot of room to add to your collection, which is a good thing, right?

Thank you. It is a good thing! I love old bottles. Anything vintage and antique is cool because it gives you the chance to own a part of history: whether it's part of history is big or small, it's still pretty cool.

there is a number of antique malls and stores that have bottles , sometimes you can even find them at thrift stores but thats is more random and by chance

Nice milk, I have the 1959 quart. The Certo was a pectin for making jams. Milk of magnesia aka (MOM). Nice blue color. Welcome to the site!

Welcome to the forum! If you want blues and other 1950s bottles I'd suggest checking out some creeks and ravines near you, especially if you live in a rural area. There are still thousands upon thousands of those bottles out there waiting to be picked up off the surface, no sense in paying for them. Hopefully next year the bottle shows will be up and running again, there's a great one that's typically held in Ottawa and the most well-known which I've never been to but plan on it in the future which is held outside Toronto. I think both are typically in the spring.

I'm in Gravenhurst up in the Muskoka area. I've been to a few good places around here but I don't get to go often, which is why I'm looking for online antique sites in Ontario.

Thank you! I appreciate the info on the certo bottle. That one was a bit puzzling.
