I just got off the phone with a buddy his friend who doesn't collect bottles found a whiskey flask in a wall in an old house. Wants to sell it.... I have access to it but need help
Mind you this was an over the phone discription
Open pontil, Double tapered collar, Pint, Aqua with Sheeves of Wheat/Rake & Hoe(possible fork) on one side, large unique star on the other. Mint no chips or cracks. He called cause I collect flasks and he doesn't....A "True" bottle digging buddy.......I have to make an honest offer because I want to be fair
any help would be appreciated
thx

It must be a GXIII-39, scarce, made in Bulltown, N.J. 1858-c. 1870. I'm not sure of the value because I haven't seen one sell. $150 is probably in the ballpark.
