I have at least two dozen fish net floats. From that small net size up to about 15" in diameter, The big ones are in rope tied encasement. I even have a large demijohn in the rope encasement, because it was used to float a net top also. Most of my big ones came from the Pacific Ocean, along the Oregon and Washington sea shore - I assume they were used on Japanese fish nets. Most are hand blown and empontiled - I have read that some were machine made, but I haven't been able to find information on what type of machine was used. I have always gotten carried away with man's uses for this man made material.RED Matthews <bottlemysteries@yahoo.com>
