Hi all,
My grandpa has collected bottles for most of his life, he's 96 now, and its time to start letting some things go.
He sold most of his collection (maybe 10000 bottles) in Brownsville, Tx over 20 yrs ago, but he still has quite a few left.
I am sure he only kept the good, pretty ones.
We are not sure of the values or where to sell them.
Any suggestions on getting values or an appraisal in Austin, Tx?
Thanks Greg

Post some pictures here. There are honest people here who will tell you the value of the bottles. You might even sell some while youre here!!!

I will be in Austin for the Citywide Garage Sale at Palmer Events Center on April 24-25. I will have a booth there if you want to bring some in for me to look at. If there are too many bottles to transport I can come to look at them after the show closes after 5:00 on Saturday of after 6:00 on Friday which is set up day.
I have been collecting bottles in Texas for over 40 years and I know a lot about the local bottles and buy collections frequently. You may send me a private message or email if you prefer.

OK I have a few pictures.
If they will not show, I have one Coca Cola dated Dec 25, 1923.
Another one that says soda water for coca cola.
I have a blue Wyeth bottle with the cap that tells when to take your next does of medicine.
And a bottle that has internal threads for the cap, which I have.
A few ceramic ones as well.
We only went thru one box of 7, about 30 per box.

Greg

Your bottles are old enough to be of interest. Just let me know where you would like to meet in Austin this Friday or Saturday, April 23-24, and I'll look at your bottles.
