Hey everyone! I'm new & wanted to say hello

Hey everyone, thanks for having me! I've been collecting anything old, interesting & unique all my life. Bottles, coins, tax tokens, insulators, and anything I find that some sort of entrensical value. But I live outside Philadelphia "suburbs" and I myself have found 2 rather rare and possibly valuable old Clorox Bottles in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia. I believe I know what they are and why they're important. 2 different random forums I found tout one if not both to be " the hardest Clorox Bottles to find & supposedly the most valuable? Not sure if that statement is true, but that's why I'm asking you all for help & asking you all to pool your no doubt hundreds of years knowledge that you all collectively have amassed and please help me shine a little more light on this situation of mine. I just hope I'm posting it in the right section

I never heard of a rare Valuable Clorox Bottle. BUT, I'm no Clorox Specialist. Maybe somebody in here can Help you. Anyways, Welcome to the Site. LEON.

I'm having a hard time finding those Clorox bottles too...

Never actually met anyone that is actively seeking Clorox bottles for their collection. I've never seen them at any Bottle Shows. It was a very common product still in use today. Diggers find a lot of them as every household used bleach. I'm with LEON as I've "never heard of a rare Valuable Clorox Bottle". Like ROY asks a picture of two needs to be provided.

If I dug these I wouldn't think much, they would go back in the hole. Those are made in an automatic bottle machine (1903) so by 1915 everything was caught up and using ABM. The triangle on the bottom is called an owens-something mark. I don't think they hold any monetary value.

I would classify the one bottle is a liquor/med type bottle/flask hard to say without its paper label. This has a bit of demand and are collected by some folks. The Clorox bottle is a very commonly found size with little demand. If it had its original paper label, it would be way better. You may be the trend setter on collecting these. Pictures are nearly a necessity on question posts. Good job!

I would put them back in the hole too...but we must remember...to a serious collector that likes these moderned common machine-made clorox bottles...that would be their passion and delight. Bottles don't need to be rare to be desired. It's not about the value...it's the chase and buying when you find one that's the real fun. Rare Sand Bank N.Y. bottles sell for a lowly $40. to $60. but i can't find anyone that has one to sell me for a princely sum boardering on insanity. The chase. The Op seeking clorox bottles cannot find anyone to sell him the bottle cause we're all putting them back in the hole.
