Antique Pepsi bottle from New Bern, NC

Hey again, I'm new to this site so bare with me. This is a old Pepsi bottle from around 1920 or so that shows new Bern on lower front with no state initials behind. A fellow local collector suggest it was left off because Pepsi was trying to sell across state line. It has 2322 on bottom. Any help would be helpful, thanks

That bottle could be earlier than the 20's. About the other half of your inquiry I no not. But nice bottle.
