Our Hobby is still going strong in spite of the down economy, yes, I know that many of us will never get the opportunity to own one of these but on the other hand how many folks own a T-206 tobacco card with Wagner? Not many. I know that many complain about the high prices now, like back in the 70"s I could get this for 20-30 bucks. Yep, and gas was .25 a gallon, a candy bar was a nickel and so was a coke. Try buying a new car now for $2,500, more like $25,000. In hind sight, maybe I should have bought more of those Indian Queens back in 1989 for $125. Almost as good as holding gold. I do believe that buying quality bottles, and holding them is better than a 401K in the stock market. That I get to look them any time I want (no taxes either!)

OY! The clear Indian went way over it's projected rate.

I have noticed that bottle prices are slowly regaining value as more people start finding work (or those with a job feel more confident in the economy and their own security)...but still going for fairly cheap on ebay.

OK, a newbie here. What auction?
Really, what auction, obviously there were rare colors and variants not shown in your description that Steve knew about.

You can search any of the results or simply look through page by page. A load of really nice bottles but nothing I was interested in, which is good since I couldn't afford the majority of those bottles on offer! [;)]

there was a pharmacy bottle I would have loved to have. My hubby told me I could up to a certain amount as my Christmas present...it went for about $500 more than I could spend.. Oh well, I knew it would go for a lot...I was just hoping the folks with the money were asleep at the wheel.
