After enjoying easy digging in a low river, I decided to check out a spot a old-time digger showed me. He used to dig the small town dump in the 1960s, and found a Dr. Fisch's Bitters there among other nice bottles. He brought me to the unlikely spot and we were able to locate it, but didn't find anything great. I returned, but lacked what I needed the most (a pair of loppers). I need to spend an hour just clearing the brush so I can dig freely! The spot I dug was pretty shallow, about 1 1/2 feet deep. I found a grand total of two ABM slicks and a bottomless local ABM soda. After hitting a pocket of cans out popped a Hire's, which I started to throw aside when I noticed the color. A beautiful citron green! I think I prefer that color over the lt. blue ones. It was BIM too, which was a good sign. I found a large BIM strap flask medicine and two old padlocks before calling it a short day. Here's a picture and a short video to go with the story:

That's always cool to see common bottles in sweet colors like that. Swiz
