found this on the weekend when rummaging thru an old shed at an abandoned property I had been at . really wasn't finding much of anything but somehow I came across this matchbook . honestly not sure if its worth anything but I though it was neat and had some good info

had found a honeydew can around fall 2019 and at the time became curious to find out more about them but wasn't able to find much at the time .

I also dug a honeydew - lemon lime frozen concentrate can in a dump last year

the matchbook appears to be from the 70's or 80's era , not in great shape but does have a lot of info about the company . made by the eddy match company a major Canadian match maker at the time

front says " picture perfect " and " refreshingly good "

back says " a delicious orange drink with honey for breakfast or anytime " " also grape , lemon - lime and fruit punch , vitamin c added "

inside says " get honeydew at your grocers freezer " 12 1/2 oz and 10 oz frozen concentrate ,
Dairy section - 1 litre carton and 32 oz and 64 oz glass containers

fruit juice drink section 10 oz cans and at snack counter dispensers refreshingly good

i also found some listings for Honeydew in the Canadian trademark registry

they seem to start around 1971 , with some also from the 80's

list owner as being

Honeydew International Limited
Markham Ontario

and Honeydew International Limited
Bedford Nova Scotia

was at an antique mall in a nearby city the other day and a vendor actually had some cans for sale at reasonable prices , wasn't much interesting .

but found a honeydew can in the mix , for orange flavour , French side is nicer than English but in reasonably good shape
