Yesterday I went to an antique store and found A LOT of cheap stuff with, I think, great resale possibility. I will definitely return at a later date. However, I do have a couple questions. First up, JT Baker Chem co. The company was founded in 1904 by John Townsend Baker because he required a higher quality of ingredients to get consistent lab results. There are four listed for sale on ebay but none have sold. One of them is $150 + $25 shipping. Two are set at $70 + $10 shipping. And the last is $15 + $20 shipping. One is listed on etsy for $31 + $11 shipping.

I've got one of those, from a thrift store or something years ago. I don't think it's worth much of anything, it's a massive bottle with very little interesting embossing and not part of a popular category of collecting. I imagine that someone listed it with a completely unreasonable price and that made other people think it was worth something too.

Alright, thanks. Once I set my store up (I've got everything figured out so it should be soon) I'll put it up there and just see what happens.

Just a couple more. "The Maltine M'F'G Co. New York"
I bought this one for $2.50. I only saw 1 sold on ebay. It was set for $7 but seller took a best offer. Shipping was $10
There are 2 currently for sale. One is being sold with another maltine mfg co bottle as a lot for $25 + $10 shipping. The second is set at $30 + $10 shipping. I'm sure that those prices are too high though.

One gallon pepsi-cola fountain syrup can. I bought it for $3. There were 2 on ebay that have sold, both in significantly better condition. One was $70 + $11 shipping. The other was $50 + $11 shipping. I was hoping to get at least $20 for mine, but now I'm really doubting I'll get that for it given it condition. Should I try to clean some of the rust off or just leave it?

Lastly, a 3 gallon crock. I bought it for $25. It has a chip on one of the handles. I was thinking it could resale for about $75 if not more. An issue I am having though, is where to sell it at. Shipping would be a pain on ebay but I don't sell enough to justify renting a booth at an antique store/mall. Any ideas?
