In search of pre-1880's Minnesota Blob Top Bottles

I only collect un-tumbled bottles. I would rather have a hazy bottle with ground lines than a sparkling tumbled bottle. I'm in search of the aqua blob tops. I missed an e bay auction of an 1870's Mankato Minnesota blob top and have been looking ever since although I'm interested in any pre 1880's aqua Minnesota blob top bottles. Information is much appreciated. Thank You.

there are a few out there. they all go in the $200 rage usually. I know there is one from Rochester and a few from the cities. the Comstock and Steere being the most famous. the Minnesota bottle show is a good place to look, if you have ever been there. but if you find a Rochester blob, let me know. because I NEED it. []

Thank you. I'll keep you in mind if I find a pre-1880's rochester blob. Was at a dig site a couple of days ago near the Minnesota state line at a very old house built out of square nails and thought I had a slope shoulder on the way out of the ground. Saw the thick aqua blob and the bail. Was an aqua blob type bottle out of Philadelphia. The first aqua blob type I've dug in the area though.

North Dakota and Minnesota. Found 3 aqua patent meds, 2 local North Dakota pharmacy bottles (non-territorial although close) 2 aqua Dr. Wards, 1 amber and 3 aqua Watkins and 15 or 20 un-embossed pharmacy bottles. All tooled or hand applied tops.
