Found insulators searching for old dump sites along a railroad no longer in use. There were tons of them, and I brought back what I can carry. Don't know if any of them hold any value. Is this spot worth returning too?

Yes yes and yes! The 147 spiral grooves, 152 hemingrays, the 162 on the wooden pin. If you find good colors or certain embossings they can be of value. I always loved 147's. Go take photos and post them here and we can tell you what might be worth taking home.

I know the oddball colored ones & Mickey Mouse eared ones can be worth good money. That first one you posted is a nice one. LEON.

This spot had a ton. You would walk 15 or 25 yards and there would be a downed rotting pole with tons of insulators. Whenever I go back to the spot I'll post anything interesting I find on this thread.

This is one I dug a few weeks back at I dump. It doesn't look like train insulator. Any thought on what this was.
