So I found this jar, alongside a Chrysler hubcap, at the bottom of a washout, leading into a pretty good size creek! I thought it was only half a jar, til I jumped down to see the other half was just buried in clay! Hubcap was about half buried as well, with roots growing through the holes! Man that is a well built hubcap, I probably should've cracked, or broke it clean in half, but it held! Thought the jar was pretty cool looking and I'd never heard of 3 rivers, so threw it in the truck! Of course all the ebay sales pitches talk about its rarity, but is it actually rare at all?? My brief search didn't bring up any jars, but looks like they made all kinds of bottles and other glassware! So figured I'd get some answers here!

3 Rivers glass does have it's collectability. It was made in Texas for a limited number of years until Ball bought them out and shut them down. Jar's are semi common from there. The sodas and milks they made have a much higher desirability and can fetch decent money.

Cool, thanks for the info, webbe992!! And yall I'm going to ahead apologize, for a couple things, as I'm sure most have deduced, but I am super green when it comes to this bottle/can/insulator collecting! I apologize for some of the prior educationally challenged questions I've posted on yalls great forum, so should probably go ahead apologize for any future!! Hopefully I'm not wasting too much of anyone's time!!
