Yup, no pontil, BIM(blown in mold). Looks like the earlier side of BIM, so yeah, 1870's looks about right.

That looks like a Dr. Wistar's Balsam of Wild Cherry. I have a couple exactly like yours and it is not pontiled

Same, there is a pontil varient and a non-pontil variant.
