I was just lookin at a jar I had for awhile an noticed it had a micro 4 an there is a period after 1858. on it.. it'a clear ,smooth lip quart can someone with more experince tell me the RB #?

My best guess is yes and done after the mold was retooled but they didn't do the 4. The dot is just an anomaly.
I doubt it changes anything for value.

Interesting jar. Ground lip or smooth? Anything embossed on the base? Put it alongside another 1858 and take another picture, showing the entire jars. Your jar shows an interesting shape.

Same mold that got blocked up from use and cleaned, except the 4.

Same mold that got blocked up from use and cleaned, except the 4.
that is what I thought u meant, but where did the 4 come from? it's embossed
