Thanks Matt, that is a very nice thing to say. I am the seller David. The earlier versions of these with an open pontil are generally sheared lips, it is the slightly later version that usually has an applied collar. That mold impression is great Bill. That's what would be important to me if I were a buyer. Some people are funny about the fine details like lips. I've always felt they were just at the whim of the maker or the demands of who ordered them.
