1880-90'S MGS, large rim chip. Any way to clean this up a bit without tumbling/acid? Appreciate
any thoughts, thanks.

It's wear to the bottle, no way to remove it apart from tumbling to remove the outer layer of glass. If there's dirt in the scratches making them more noticeable you might be able to get some out through careful use of a toothbrush and water, but I don't think it would get that much better.
