Another new bottle to my collection fresh off the tumbler. Well semi-new I guess you could call it. I have another Voelker bottle but it has the initial G. and this is for Gottfried Voelker who had a soda factory at 1310 Jackson Street from 1867 - 1880. Gottfried at one time had a partner named Stephen Zeisler. I can find no reference to a J. Voelker in all my resources so either the bottle is a misprint or another Voelker (brother, son, uncle etc) had a brief run as a soda bottler. The J bottle has a glass makers mark of A. & D. H. C. (Alexander & David H. Chambers) of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. The G bottle has a glass makers mark of W. Mc C & Co. (William McCully & Co.) of Pittsburg Pennsylvania. I am sure this bottle dates to the mid 1870's same as my other new acquisitions.
