I just got this aqua quart sized Hutchinson. It is a J.W. Ransley from East Orange N.J. embossed in a parallelogram shaped. This bottle not to be sold on the base. Pre J.W. Ransley & Son days i believe.

Still aqua. Camera didn't change it much I have to say. Aqua to me is a range of green to blue but not too much of either or it is no longer aqua. People use the term aqua blue or aqua green. Still aqua to me. Lol! Thanks for the compliment.

Hey, I just noticed in hutchbook that there are only 2 R.W. Ransley Hutchinson from East Orange N.J #NJ0164 and #NJ0163 both are scarce, both mention a round plate, one is round, the other looks like a tombstone slug. Mine is a parallelogram shaped private mold? I have looked at both bottles and they are not this one. I have seen more of this one on line so it must be common. Why is it not in Hutchbook unless it is not a Hutchinson bottle? Thanks for any thoughts.

The bulge seems smaller than a regular size, but that might be because its a quart and just looks smaller. Did you compare it directly?
