just noticed this one on ebay , neat bottle not a bottle you see often , not sure if I've ever seen one before . a codd bottle from JJ McLaughlin Toronto Ontario .

doesn't come cheap though , asking $1500.00 ( US ) or make an offer , which is $1800.00 Canadian . I checked the Toronto bottle book price guide and it is listed as being worth $1500 so maybe that's where the seller got his asking price

like its weird for certain antiques $1500 wouldn't actually be considered a high priced item . if you've ever seen the prices people ask for things like antique firearms , furniture , old signs , even some coins

but for a bottle it seems like a lot of money

There was one that came up for auction about the same time this one did this year that sold for 1700 CAD. At the Maple leaf auction.

Wow I've never seen that one before, I didn't know McLaughlin had a Codd at all. It's definitely far out of my price range!
