Never had the chance of picking a Jones before. Remember seeing in Digger O' Dells soda book at the Jones he had listed. Saw one on display at a bottle show. I don't think these are that rare, I just really like them. Thought they only came in a medium green, so this teal was a surprise for me.
Bought this one from PrivyGal , she is quite the digger and has quite the collection.
This one will be tumbled.

The bottle dates earlier than 1850 since Jones ended his bottling enterprise in 1850. Scarce early Philadelphia bottle and a nice addition to any collection. There is currently an example for sale on eBay priced between 250 and 300 dollars.

Didn't know that the Jones were that early.
Do these come in cobalt or blue?

It's possible there's a blue Jones bottle floating around somewhere in the dark corners of collector world but I wouldn't bet on it since he wasn't in business very long.

Yes, there is a cobalt blue version of this mid 1840s bottle. One sold on Danielle's site, not sure how much though.
