I recently acquired this King Court Sour Sparkling Carbonated Water ACL. I tried doing some research on this bottle but did not turn up much. This appears to be perhaps an early 1930's ACL. Bottle is ABM. ACL is red and yellow. Bottle is very light-weight. The base of the bottle is embossed:Bergerie Bros New Iberia, LA. "3 (Left) / Owens Illinois Mark / 7 (Right) / 5 (Below)." (Embossed "G 67" on heel) The label is embossed:Kings Court Sour / Minimum Contents / 6 Fluid Ounces / Sparkling Carbonated Water / Sugar and Juice of Sun Ripe California Lemons / Contains Less Than 1/10 of 1% Benzoate of Soda. (What's that?) I have seen a few of the newer ACLs labeled "Kings Court The Original", like this one LINK, but nothing that looks quite like mine. September 20, 1936 King Court Sour Ad from the Bluefield Daily Telegraph. (Halfway Down Page). LINK.Notice this bottle in the ad is from Rock, West Virginia and bottled by the Rock Mineral Springs Co. According to this Link (www.sha.org/bottle/pdffiles/OwensIll_BLockhart.pdf) (can't insert link for some reason),The "3" on the base means this bottle was made at the Huntington, W. VA plant from 1930-Present.Does the 3 and the 7 mean 1937? My questions are, has anyone seen one in this style or from New Liberia, LA and is this one possibly more rare or valuable? Also, what is an approximate age?
