I took a break from swimming yesterday to briefly explore an old road which was being dug up . I noticed the town was digging the ditches along one of the old concession roads , that road has likely been in the same location for over 100 years . but not sure how much traffic it would of got as its rural but connects to the main highway .

walked along the entire road , all I seemed to be finding was plastic bottles , modern beer cans and bottles , some pop cans and liquor bottles . wasn't till near the end I saw something barely visible thru the dirt . at first though it was one of those stewarts pop bottles but then started to pull it out and realised it was a Kist bottle , the 10 oz larger one

when I first found it , most of the white paint was still on it but by this morning a lot came off and after a quick rinse even less . but its not broken despite being nearly dug at with heavy equipment . assume it was down there since the 50's or 60's .
