Lastly a pic of the cryers....the one with no top in the back is a large Bacon & Hyde//Druggist//St. Louis with a backwards N in Bacon and sharp open pontil! Of course I had to dig it from the bottom side and really had high hopes of it being whole, but Nooooo! Also dug about a dozen scroll and Louisville double eagle flasks in pint and half pint sizes. No exotic colored ones to make me cry harder, Ha! Also dug what I thought was a huge Ayers but in the panel it was embossed Tonic Bitters! Any guesses? Haven't seen a Graves Tonic Bitters pic yet, wondering if this was one? It's the busted aqua center bottom of pic. Other Bitters was a busted op SO Richardsons and an amber early Hostetters....Jack

Thanks tree, the one scroll is in good condition, just the one in back in first pic is damaged. I already checked with Paul from Idigjars who is a real jar nut and got the updated scoop, as my jar redbook is a little outdated....and yeah, it was fun. only time I wasn't having fun was out of the hole! It was like digging in my basement at least 15 degrees cooler at the 6' level, as Monday was a cooker here! Jack

Awesome dig! Too bad about the cracked and broken pieces but overall it looks like a sweet haul. Hopefully there are some other pits in the neighborhood loaded with colored flasks and unique pontiled St Louis bottles. Are there any Hannibal, MO pontils to be found?

The pint fruit jar is an A. Stone in arch smooth based with a big crack running length of seam line. Would have been the best $ glass from the hole.

I'd love to see a picture of this jar. Even with the crack it would have some value.
