Lea & P? early bottle

I wonder if someone could weigh in on this L & P bottle? Would it be one of the earlier "family size" bottles

or ...?

I've never seen one like it, and I can't seem to find any info anywhere. (It's 8-1/2 ins tall.)

I think it's probably a pickle jar. Never seen that particular one before though.
