Found an ACL bottle today that I've never seen before. It's in lousy shape, but I'm curious as to rarity. None on eBay now or over the past few months, but that doesn't mean it's really rare. It's a Ledge soda (or maybe spring water) bottle from 1944. Manufactured by Ochee Beverages in Rhode Island. Any info on this bottle would be appreciated.

No help here.
I am curious if this was found in a creek/bed or ground?

Found it on dry land near an old cement foundation in the woods. Appears to have been a machine shop there at one time, so maybe some chemicals in the ground got to it? Probably a toxic waste dump that I should have avoided!

Life is uncertain and short.

Sometimes you gotta dig sketchy spots and aquire heavy metals and various toxins...

I am curious as to what exactly eats up ACL?
But between various inks and ground conditions, I will likely never know definitively.

I did not see it listed in the ACL Soda Book? LEON.
I have not bit the bullet and bought the various books I see so often referenced, what does that mean exactly?

"Well-known" means nothing...
I am still very much a noob.

Hi Tim,
It is a scarcer bottle, there are three variants of it, yours looks like the most commonly encountered. I would guess a mint value of $30-40.

Thanks! Sorry for the slow reply. I forgot all about this post! At least it's not a valuable bottle. It annoyed me that I couldn't find another one at the spot.
