Just held a open pontil med. the other day, that when I first picked it up I thought it was a Dr. Robertson’s family medicine because it was about the same size and shape the difference was the embossing.
LEE'S
VALUABLE MEDICINE
PREPARED FOR
NOAH RIDGEL
Is anyone familiar with this med. ?

Yes Chris, this is a rare one. From ads I have located in Baltimore and Philadelphia Newspapers Family Medicines from Michael Lee and Company it seems Noah Ridgely was a partner of Michael Lee & Company. In 1814 Noah runs an ad stating he is now the sole proprietor for Lees Family Medicines while right next to his ad is none other then Dr Dyott. Can you post a picture of it and I might as well ask you is it for sale? Thanks Steve

Yes Matt,a great bottle no doubt,
Another ad Chris, from The Saturday, October 9, 1813 Daily National Intelligencer (Washington DC) This one shows Michael Lee signing the wrapper.
Based on the ad I showed prior sometime between October 9th 1813 and Monday, June 27, 1814 Noah Ridgely became the sole proprietor. This ad was long so I had to break it into 4 separate pictures.

See if you can get a picture of the bottle Chris and please post it here Thanks Steve. I have to get back to work now but I think I own a newspaper showing the Widow of Michael Lee in reference to his company. I will try and find it later today.

I think everyone long assumed the bottle existed because of all the advertising.
Chris R. had confirmed it in 2012 but that was after I already printed my book.

I have never seen one for sale. I'd assume there can only be a few known at best.
I don't know if its in the most current Balt bottle book.
