Hey Everyone,

I moved to North Jersey (Trenton) a few years back and have recently decided to expand my squat collection. I’m looking for any uncommon Trenton squats, pontiled or not. I’ve got the Morton’s & Richardson’s which seem to be everywhere… And would like to buy / trade for some new glass. I’m also seeking anything pontiled from Salem NJ, especially an unrepaired Cattell.

Thanks!
Shelby

I live near Trenton and have collected local bottles on and off for about 40 years. I might have a few extra Trenton and Trenton area bottles. Nathan Richardson (originally from New Hampshire) moved to Trenton about 1850 or late 1840s. He became one of the most prominent brewers and bottles in Trenton from 1850 until his death in 1876. There are many different Richardson bottles, some scarce, some not so scarce. His sometimes business partner William Morton was equally prominent. Morton's bottling career ended right after the Civil War and he died in 1874.

I am very familiar with both Morton & Richardson. I am looking forward to your posts. What extras do you have? Post them in wanted to sell area of this site. Things priced reasonably usually sell. I added that last comment because some people are crazy with their prices. How many bottles do you currently have. I used to collect full unopened acl soda bottles. I no longer collect them and plan on posting them up for sale. I have all different ones embossed also but not as many. 1920's, 30's and 40's...some 50's too.
