Ah yes, the Owens Illinois mark. Very nostalgic to me. My first dump had a lot broken Owens Illinois bottles from the 1930s. A historical symbol indeed. O-I (Owens Illinois), is the largest glass company in the world now. May I also mention, Micheal J. Owens created the automatic bottling machine, which forever changed the world.i have a pint size bosch beer bottle with markings on the bottom. having a hard time finding info about the markings on the bottom. see the drawing for the markings. never saw a bottle with the 88 on it. trying to date my bottle. can anyone one help ?
