Louisville KY Hutch collection

Met an older gentleman today that was a big digger from 70's - 90‘s. Turned out he had a large collection of Louisville hutchs so I made a trip over to his house to take a look. He had 30 hutches from about 10 different bottlers. I wish I would have been able to afford what he wanted for the group, but regardless it was fun listening to his stories and learning some history of Louisville bottling companies. He gave me a printout of all the Louisville bottlers from about 1850 - 1950 that he had compiled. It has the bottling company names, addresses and years they were in buisness. Well that had to be a very memorable opportunity. I would like to have copies of that much information on a subject like that. I have never gotten many hutches finished bottles. They just didn't show up that often. RED Matthews

Yeah, Those are nice, If I collected Louisville Hutches I'd be all over them, If price was right. LEON.

I finally bought the collection from him 2 weeks ago. Ended up with 32 hutches, with only 5 duplicates. I posted a picture of a green Geo Stang over in the favorite hutch thread.

Tim, 1 was not, and info sent to Ron already. A few of them had some minor variations from hutchbook, but I'm guessing those are because of hard to read embossing on the bottles used for the hutchbook listing.
