Magnetic Spring Water bottle & Crate

Hi, looking for any info on this bottle and crate. I don't know what I'm talking about so please excuse my ignorance here.

It's a machine-made Magnetic Spring Water bottle and crate. I see a 1925 stamped on the bottom - would this be the manufactured year? The bottom also looks to have some fracture line and I can feel them so I assume it's damaged and fragile.

Any info appreciated. I am looking to sell in Chicagoland area.

I have a 1/2 gallon Magnetic Spring Water Bottle from Saginaw so it might be from there. possibly one from Grand Rapids, Both cities in Michigan. the 1925 assumed date could be correct & sounds about right to me but just my opinion. Leon.

Welcome to the forum! I've never seen a full year marked on a bottle, all the date codes I've seen have been one or two digits. That said, 1925 looks pretty much spot on for that bottle. So even if 1925 isn't the date it was manufactured it dates to right around that period anyway.

The I-in-a-Diamond mark is for the Illinois Glass Company who merged with the Owens Glass Company in 1929 and became the Owens-Illinois Glass Company - so definitely pre 1929
