Manufacturing defect AB connected bottle?

This is a ab connected bottle from I think the late 1917s with some interesting defects on it. It's a manufactured glass in a machine but it has three dents on the side of it and a sucken in bottom to the glass and a lopsided neck. I just thought it was interesting. Don't know if defects are rare but just noticed it in my collection. If anyone knows if defects are rare lmk.

Defects are not rare & do not add any value in my opinion. unless maybe extreme & interesting like different swirled colors LEON.

Thank you for the reply. Yeh I guess bottle defects don't really add rarity unlike coin defects. Thanks for the insight.

Can you post a clearer picture of the base. I found one just like that but a 12oz. It was one of 4 ever found. One is just the base.

I think RobbyBobby64 is referring to the AB-connected variants (that look to be British made) at the very bottom of this page: https://glassbottlemarks.com/list-abconnected-bottle-base-mold-codes/
I haven't seen a bottle with an "S" instead of an "X". Or is that a 5?? I can add that mold to my list on the webpage. David Whitten

Yeh, you can add the picture to the webpage. It looks like it is a AB-connected bottle. It looks like an S but it might be a 5 instead of an S because its a manufacturing defect causing a slightly sunken bottom and dented sides, I don't know it most likely is an S. I looked at the one on your website and it looks the same except the one on the website has an X. Is there British made AB bottles?
