Hello All

My wife and I were antiqueing last Friday and she found this cabinet and said since I have a birthday coming up next month that I should have it for my marbles.

The drawers are perfect for marbles. It was originally a lawyers paper cabinet and some of the papers were from the 1930's.

I am including pics of one drawer that I got organized. All popeyes on the bottom and Akro oxbloods on top. Take care all and good luck finding items for your collections. Paul :)

That's awesome Paul!!! How are you fixing them in place? Are they pressed into a Styrofoam® board?

Thank you for the nice comment.

There is a 1/4" rubber type sheet on the bottom and rubber "O" rings under the marbles. I would like to take some time this winter and lay out thin boards that I can drill the holes in and paint them white to put in all the drawers. This was a temp fix for now to get them organized. Thanks for looking. Paul

Hey Paul,

Now there's an early birthday present with panache. What's the size of it? Any maker's information?

I'd like to see more pictures, if you're so inclined. It's a very handsome cabinet.

The lawyers sure do store their papers differently in these over-lawyered times.

Hey Paul,

A straight on view. The overhead shot makes it look smaller. Details on brass fittings, any stampings in drawers, or maker's information. Nice grain configurations...

What is the glass fronted display on top all about?

Thanks for showing us.
