Maybe one more but holy crap. That was my summer. They may not be the oldest or museum quality but there's a couple good ones.

I did about an hours dig at my sons place just three miles away from me, mostly later stuff there but I wanted a few more of the NDNR sodas that I already knew were there from before, I did find a couple beers from the early 50's and a cool half pint milk from '55 that still has it's ACL intact.....Oh, and I also found a horseshoe and a crystal clear marble when I dug with Carol last week as well (no pics at the moment of those).

When I stacked all the boxes together from the summer, I said to my wife that's a lot of damn bottles she said you think so. I said well I guarantee you I'm not the only one that has this many, so far you're the only one showing your pics for the summer and I can't defend myself.

Yeah, I've been on a bit of a "I'm going digging" kick for about the last month or so, Already tripping over boxes of them. I'll be storing some were I keep others at that are "waiting their turn" for labels. I still have shelving space for the beers I collect. Just got back from another hike this morning, didn't really dig the way I wanted to, but did find a few more, they're soaking now. After lunch I'll get them cleaned and get some pics..... :p

That didn't take long, only four bottles to clean, found a small pin-hole in one of the Handy's so it will be headed back to broken beer bottle Heaven lol, only the pint flask was one I dug up for what little I did dig, and oddly the others were just laying near the dump site as if throw there yesterday. I don't normally collect the stepped-cone style Handy bottles, but this one is dated from '76 and I have a label in mind for it. I'm really starting to like the "Tavern" style beers, just like the way they look with labels, same with early spirits flask bottles (mainly pints). I added a couple pics of my crazy obsession of these bottles....The last picture shows a rare milk-glass Handy bottle Black Label Beer, and both a Schlitz and Old Milwaukee Royal Ruby's with original labels...... :)
