its obviously a soda bottle , are there any towns or cities nearby called Milton , it could also be the name of the bottler
Has anyone seen this bottle?
It's "Coke green" glass with "Melton" on two sides.

NEWPORT NEWS, VA.
My son and I found it on a recent creek walk in eastern Virginia.
Thanks!
That's what we thought too, so far we've not seen any refernces to "Melton" in any thing.Looks late 1920s. MELTON might be the soda brand name.

I also found this 1910 American Bottlers annual magazine? I found it very interesting. It has a Hutch plant for sale and a bunch of articles and advertisements. I thought you and your son might find this interesting and informative. Plenty of pictures too.
