Mission impossible - are you game?

I found this shard on a beach on the north shore of long island, NY in December 2020. The piece was found at the shoreline
on a beach in the town of Glen Cove. The town was known in the 1830s as a steamboat port for transferring passengers between Glen Cove and New York City.
The piece is frosty whitish/clear, with a slight purple tint (manganese in the glass maybe)?
I know its a tiny piece, but I appreciate anyone's guess as to who the manufacturer was of this bottle.
I have tried searching a lot on the internet, but I just cant find anything. Thanks in advance for your suggestions. Pics attached.

Not impossible at all! It's an E.R. Durkee bottle, likely similar to this one. I went to college in Glen Cove (Webb Institute) and found a neat "seaglass" Bromo Seltzer bottle I still have there as well as a couple old pottery crocks up in the marsh. Beautiful area with lots of history!
