I think you can find modern Codd bottles at any gaming store or Japanese restaurant. My niece loves them. These have a plastic label on them and come in different flavors. BUT the bottom is scored around the heel (I assume to keep them from falling off the assembly line).
Your bottle is very crude around the top. I don't know how these bottles are manufactured in the modern era but I think that they would have a process to not have to go back and tool the bottle. I can tell you that the marble has to go in before the top (of course, captain obvious), I would think nowadays they would mold the bottle around the marble.
Any way it goes you have a Codd bottle, it's still a nice conversation piece.
