I picked this up on an impulse stop at an antique shop today for $5.00, Mohawk Extra Dry Ginger Ale, Pittsfield, Mass. I've never seen one before, and know if it's uncommon? Thanks for looking!

Here's the back. Bottom says 55, so I'm thinking 1955.

Thanks Splante, I'll probably throw it up on the bay to see what happens. I hear you on the digging. I had the day off from work, so I picked up my digging buddy and went to look for bottles in the water. Went up to a nice swimming hole I know in Coventry and went snorkeling for bottles for about 4 hours. I got some good sun and nothing else! I couldn't believe how clean the bottom was in this pond. The only bottles found were a few bud lights, circa 2011. Oh well, it was better than working! On the way home, I happened by a small antique shop that had a few bottles but this was the only one that jumped out at me.

Msleonas, you're braver than I am digging in this heat. I might head up to CT for some digging next weekend if it cools down some. Did you find anything?

I think I'm going to start a bottle snorkeling thread to see if anyone else has had any success at it.

@Treasurekidd, I found a couple of milks, an old beer bottle, and some small castoria bottles and one really small but pretty china lid of some sort. I lost about 5 pounds!
