One month ago I dug up a Unique, rare, green glass, 10 FL OZ Mt. Dew bottle while gardening in my back yard. It rolled out of the sandy dirt over the lid of an old cistern found on our property. This home is 94 years old and 1 km from Canadian Armed Forces Base Borden in Angus, Ontario, Canada. Prohibition had ended in 1927, repealed by the Federal Government and Liquor stores re-opened in some parts of Ontario but those who went in it were negatively stigmatized. The uniqueness of this Mt. Dew bottle are two codes embossed in shapes and numbers on the neck of the bottle, Its also unique as its not a Hillbilly and not a Tickle Your Innards. I haven't found any like this one online or in one of the biggest antique stores in Barrie, Ontario. Also unique is that it's logo, " Mountain Dew" is embossed in a curved position on the bottle over top of a "Pointed D". This house is 94 years old. Possibly more buried in the back. We believe It was possible that our basement with a secret door and concrete passages were a location for making moonshine. CN Rail is behind the house, abandoned train tracks for years. Possibly used as a stop along the Underground Railway. Prohibition, in 1927 had just been repealed by the Canadian Government. This house was built in 1928. A rarity that should be in a museum. Contact me by phone if you have any interest. 519-938-6616 Canada.

I never seen that one, I'd dig out the old Cistern & maybe find the Privy & dig it, they both may be filled with old Bottles. LEON.
