My New...um...I'm not sure what it is...?

Got this on Wednesday from a second hand thrift store. I rarely find anything really neat there as far as bottles are concerned but this one caught my eye. It has a clock face on one side and says "good night" and on the other side it has an upside down star. The bottom only has three letters that I think might be initials...CLF. The thing appears to be blown cause of the bubbles and the neck is kind of crooked. I could be wrong though. So does anyone know anything about this bottle? Any input is welcome. [] I love reading what everyone has to say. []

What you have there is a pumpkin seed flask or sometimes called a picknic flask. It dates to the late 1800s. I often see them with little sayings like “merry Christmas†or “happy new years†or in your case, “good nightâ€. Here is a link to one that already sold on ebay that’s just like yours.

Opps, the one on ebay actually says “Early Morning†but I has the same star and clock as yours. That's neat that they made the same flask with different sayings on it.
