Found this beehive on the peanut line RR. I can't read the embossing because it is so worn out. If anyone can tell the manufacturer based on the design and readable embossing that would we appreciated. Good find nonetheless because it has the mount, (is that what you call it)?

It's a Brookfield. CD 145 and the embossing says W. Brookfield/45 Cliff St./N.Y. Pat'd Nov 13th 1883/Feb 12th 1884 or something to that effect.

Yes, it's Brookfield. Some of your pictures show some "ghost" embossing. That happens when the glob of glass rests against the mold lettering, cools a bit, then the glass glob squirms a bit. It makes some of the letters appear more than once. It's an interesting characteristic but usually doesn't affect value dramatically.

Those are known as CREBs, Crown Embossed Brookfield, they come in a couple of styles and are the earliest of the Brookfields. Your lucky if you find one with crisp and clear embossing. There also should be a mold line that goes over the dome, they were made in a 2 piece mold

Yeah planeguy2 that cd 145 bullet is a nice find with the dome embossing and the iron pin is a good add. The iron pin was preceded by wooden pins.
