skinner i would guess the age of your bottle would be mid 18oos.[:)] that lip and it being 3 piece mould is common it that kind of bottle ken

Ken,
You mention this type bottle ... just what type bottle is it ? Wine ? Old English etc ... Any info or even opinion would be helpfull. Have you ever seen another bottle with hand written ident. ? ( AB & Co. )

skinner i would say the ab & co would be the bottle manufacturer. i would think it was an ale bottle. just an opinion., good luck keep them coming [;)] ken

I knew one collector of early Anheuser Bush bottles who swears the AB&Co was from Anheuser Bush & Co. I could never prove it was or wasn't. He was also a manager for them. Are you Stateside where their beer or ale was distributed?

Looks to me like an 1880s beer bottle from Adolphus Busch Glass Company. Busch started in St. Louis making bottles for brewers, then bought a brewery himself.
