Dug this little guy yesterday from the 60's stone liner the weird based Ayer's came from. At first I thought "just another Burnett's" but is slightly different shaped with rounded shoulders and larger at 4 1/2" tall. Applied top with a glossy smooth base, clear glass looks flinty and certain is early 60's, as is everything so far. Tried everything and so far come up empty except for a mention of an E. N. Laboratory Co. out of Lynn, Mass. for a 1920's Burrill's tooth powder. Just curious if it is a Burnett's copycat as it is very similar. Never heard of it before.......Jack

I'm not so sure about the necco, as there are definite periods after the n and the e.....? Also no room remains for another c between the e and co. Thanks.

This one has stumped me, possibly a error bottle of some type?Might have held Castor Oil or Cocaine Hair Tonic? Doesn't look quite old enough to be from the 1860's but I may be wrong. Anyways, interesting bottle!

I also thought it resembled a Burnett's Cocoaine only smaller.....and definitely early 60's as everything from this pit was early 60's to possibly 40's. I finally hit bottom yesterday and found a busted pontiled scroll flask, a busted mossy green large sized Hoss, busted Pikes Peak half pint, a pontiled Christiana de Paris with a damaged flaired lip, and the smallest pontiled ink I have seen. In the fill was a nice early key mold Wakefields Blackberry Balsam along with 2 early McLean's Cordials and the early Ayers mentioned in an earlier post. A ton of digging for very little return, but that's the breaks sometimes.........here's a pic of the haul, such as it was. (Minus the N.E. Co for some dumb reason)
